Sambra is the daughter of Oriundo VG "Oreo". He was the first smokey black stallion to be imported from Spain into the United States. He is sired by Moret II and from the dam Oriunda VI. Sambra's great-grandfather, Bravio XVI, played a critical role in color genetics by producing offspring that led to the discovery of the pearl gene at UC Davis. Sambra is pure Spanish PRE homozygous black mare with a large star on her forehead. No other white markings. She is IALHA registered and microchipped. Sambra stands 15.2 hands. She is a very quiet, non-spooky mare. She gets along well with other horses and is the bottom of the pecking order. She also does not bond heavily with any other horses so she is very easy to handle away from any pasture pals. She is UTD on shots and worming. She has been barefoot trimmed since I purchased her in 2018 from her breeder. She is very good for the farrier, grooming, bathing, cross-ties and trailering. She rides very well under English and western saddles. She is also a great trail horse because of her calm and trusting demeanor.
