Jet is a polished hunter pleasure gelding with a great show record in JTR, ATR, and open classes. He is flashy, consistent, and easy to ride. He has been shown successfully by a young rider and is steady enough to help build confidence.
At home, he is the same kind horse every day. He has carried experienced riders, complete beginners, my husband (first time on a horse), and even our 2-year-old around quietly. He is honest, forgiving, and wants to please.
Jet has a gentle personality and a kind eye. He is very people-oriented and enjoys being part of a herd. He does best in a setting with other horses and is not suited to being kept alone.
Ground manners & care:
• Stands well for farrier and vet
• Clips, loads, and trailers without issue
• Easy to handle, respectful on the ground
Health & maintenance:
• Recent PPE with X-rays available
• Gets mildly itchy in spring/fall (well managed with over-the-counter Zyrtec)
• Can drop weight in winter but does fine with rice bran feed
We purchased Jet about 6 weeks ago, and this is not an easy decision. Our boarding situation fell through, and we no longer have a suitable setup for him. He is not happy alone, so we want to find him a home where he can thrive with other horses.

Jet is a beautiful black gelding with a great mind and a kind heart. In the right home, he will continue to shine both in and out of the show ring. We are not making this decision lightly but we know we must do what is right for the horse and him living alone is simply not that. He would be happiest with other horses and barn activity. He would even be a wonderful lesson horse as he loves kids. He absolutely lights up when he sees our 2 year old.
