Overview
Milo is a stout, athletic, and incredibly well-built 4-year-old gelding looking for his next partner. If you are looking for "short and thick," Milo fits the bill—he is built like a tank and has the foundation to go in any direction. I could honestly see him as a barrel prospect!
Ground Manners & Temperament
Milo is a gentleman on the ground and a pleasure to have in the barn.
• Catching: A true "pocket pony" who walks right up to you in the field.
• Handling: Stands to be groomed, cross-ties quietly, and lifts all four feet without issue.
• Keeping: A very easy keeper. He is low-maintenance and adapts easily to either a stall or a run-in shed setup.
Training Progress
Milo is a true blank slate, ready for a professional to finish or an experienced amateur to bring along. He has been handled correctly and is eager to learn:
• Solid on the lunge line.
• Started ground driving and introducing to the bit
• Lightly introduced to a saddle. Stands to be saddled up. Getting use to pressure on the saddle and flexing: I have not sat on him yet
The Ideal Home
Because he is young and a blank slate, Milo is looking for a home where he can continue his education. His sturdy build and sensible brain make him a fantastic prospect for ranch work, trails, or local showing. I am open to offers to a fabulous home for this boy! Fee will increase with training
