12 year old off the track QH. Prior owner tried to make him into a barrel horse, but discovered he hates arena work. He instead excels as a trail horse and lesson horse. Prior owner also says he’s worked cattle on him and he loves it. This is a big horse that does have a motor, but prefers the slower pace. He will get up and go when asked. Has all the buttons and is VERY broke. Super sweet in your pocket type horse. This horse NEEDS a boarding type barn/clean pastures. He is bottom of the totem pole, an absolute softie in the herd and will not defend himself. My other gelding is beating him up, and it’s not fair to Peso. He also doesn’t know how to handle brush country since he’s been a pampered racetrack boy - he will drag his feet straight through a cactus. He’s recovering from a mesquite thorn in his ankle from exactly this. He’s finally sound again, and ready to move on to a home where he can be pampered, not be beat up, and not be exposed to brush country pastures. Rides like a dream and is a gentle giant.
