Magic is a quiet-minded, easygoing young gelding with a solid foundation and the versatility to go in several directions. He is the same horse every time you ride him—willing, level-headed, and enjoyable to be around.
He has a solid foundation under saddle, including walk, trot, canter, backing, stopping, and moving off leg pressure. He has been started on barrels, attended local gymkhanas, and takes new environments and activity in stride.
Magic has been ridden through creeks, forests, desert terrain, neighborhoods, and along roads. He has been exposed to cattle, dogs, children, bicycles, motorcycles, tractors, and a variety of everyday situations. He rides out willingly and is comfortable away from other horses.
Athletic and willing, Magic has the potential to continue developing as a trail horse, ranch horse, gymkhana horse, or dependable all-around partner. He has the kind of disposition and foundation that allow him to be enjoyed now while continuing to progress with additional experience.
On the ground, he is easy to handle and well mannered. He ties, loads, bathes, stands quietly for grooming and the farrier, and is easy to catch.
Sound with no history of lameness or performance-limiting injuries. He does have a cosmetic scar on his left hindquarter from a previous injury. It has been evaluated by a veterinarian and does not affect his soundness or ability to work.
