Ruby is roughly 10-12 years old, very smart, and definitely not high spirited.
Pros:
- Loads and hauls
- bathes happily
- stands tied patiently
• stands for farrier, barefoot
• desensitized!! I've thrown a lot at her and her response is "looky" and then carries on
• loves trails and water
• safe from smallest to oldest
• Easy keeper
• Strong, sound, sturdy
• Neck reins
• Western stop
- she loves trails, will walk/trot a trail all day.
- goes best in hackamore
Cons:
• she stepped on her hoof years ago and it scarred.
• a little cinchy with new people, nothing dangerous, just guarded
• Mildly buddy sour but will buddy up to her human(s) too.
• Unhappy doing arena riding
- does not like bits
