Her dam, KT Coys Doll, is a well-bred mare by Doll Docsan “Leroy” and out of KT EllyDoubleMelody “Elly.” Elly, by Captains Double Coy and out of Sonitas Melody, has been a dependable trail and family horse—used in clinics and ridden by children, showing the kind of disposition everyone wants.
Leroy brings a performance-packed pedigree along with an exceptional mind. Known for his smooth ride, big stop, and trainability, he consistently sires foals with good looks, conformation, and brains. He is by Dolls Union Jac (ROM, NRHA earnings), whose offspring have earned over $310,000 across NRHA, NRCHA, AQHA, and more. Leroy’s colts have gone on to perform in reining and western dressage, proving the versatility and quality of this line.
KT Coys Doll was added to our broodmare band due to an eye injury as a foal, but she carries all the quality, disposition, and pedigree that make this cross so dependable.
On the top side, she is sired by KT HotTimein Cowtown “Tank,” a talented young stallion with elite reining and cowhorse breeding. Tank is by KR Gun Powder (2016 APHA Senior Reining World Champion, NRHA earner) and out of KT Cow Cuttin Hottie, a daughter of Cow Cuttin Colonel—an accomplished NRCHA performer with multiple titles and championships.
With influences like Colonels Smoking Gun (“Gunner”) and Cow Cuttin Colonel, this filly is bred for athleticism, cow sense, and trainability. Tank went into training with Jordan Pace in spring 2022 and continues to show promise as a performance horse.
