Feustel farms is offering a registered TWHBEA stud colt, available at weaning. These are newer genetics in the pacific northwest! Here at Feustel Farms our goal is to raise quality Tennessee Walking Horses and mules for trail, ranch, and mountain riding adventures. Our horses are raised on the rolling hills of the Palouse and the channel scab lands. They grow up to be sure footed, capable of handling difficult terrain, and with bone and joints developed to last a lifetime. Poe was born April 30th, 2026. He is stunning sorrel with lots of blue in both eyes. We plan to genetic test him for the sabino gene. Registration pending( Some Poems have Rythm). Poe's sire is TBM Rock'N Rhythm'N Rhyme (Hans). Hans is 14.2 hands high out of a maiden mare (15HH) He was bred in Virginia and brings new genetics up to the pacific northwest. Poe's dam is Feustel's Penny Babe (Penny). Penny is 15HH She was bred and raised on our farm, used as a trail horse for many years before becoming a broodmare. She has produced multiple fantastic trail horses that have gone into Idaho and Oregon. Our process for raising foal starts with imprinting from birth to 7 days, then they are turned out for a month. They come back in and are halter broke at 1 month. They are taught to tie, lead, be touched everywhere, and have their feet picked up. When they are good to lead and touch we turn them out on a large range pasture for the summer. At weaning the foals repeat those lessons and learn to load in a trailer. We use natural horsemanship methods to promote curiosity in learning. If you are looking for an eye-catching colt for stud or a future trail riding gelding take a look at Poe! He should mature around 15HH giving you a more average sized TWH for ease of use when getting on and off on trails. $1000 deposit will hold him to weaning. Non refundable except in case of accident or injury to Poe.
