Stormy is a coming 5 year old, 14h black welsh/thoroughbred mare.
Stormy’s mother Lana was approved in the main mare book with the Westfalen NA.
Her sire is Barkmeadow Black Gold.
One of the only known homozygous black Section B weish stallions in the country. he has an outstanding pedigree, great movement, a huge step and correct conformation. He stands at 122hh and has produced many lovely crossbred hunter and sport ponies.
Stormy herself is smart, brave and has a lovely personality. She is a stunning mover and is exceptionally athletic.
She gets along well in a herd, trailers well, ties etc.
She has done several 3-phase events at starter level, always placing top 2 and has trail ridden around Gettysburg and other state parks. She pops over all kinds of cross country fences without batting an eye.
She is a 10 mover and carries herself in a classy way.
She is still green but has a solid foundation. She is easy to work with and handle. She is a more forward ride so her best partner would be a confident, capable child who wants a pony to grow and win with or a smaller adult.
She can go in whatever direction you want her to go in. As a fancy dressage prospect, an eventing partner or a hunter pony. The possibilities are what you make of them.
With continued training, she will be that priceless gem we all want our kids to have or want for ourselves.
