Quick Learner Looking for Perfect Teacher
15yo Appendix mare "Call My Private Jett" (aka Charlotte) is looking for her forever home due to no fault of her own. Standing at 16hh this mare is quite the looker- flashy gaits and a stunning face, with the personality to match. After spending the first part her life as a broodmare, she ended up at an auction where she was purchased by her current owner. Charlotte was slowly restarted under saddle this year and has been making fantastic progress. So far she has covered walk, trot, and canter on a loose rein, foundation and start for bridleless work, extensive ground work, and liberty training. She is an incredibly intelligent mare who is capable of learning very quickly. However, she is very sensitive and requires someone willing to put in the time to build a relationship with her. She is not a beginner horse, but rather the perfect partner for an experienced horseman with soft hands and gentle seat looking for that once in a lifetime horse. Charlotte has the potential to excel in any facet of the equine world, but has shown a remarkable aptitude for liberty training. This mare is exceptionally smart, once she trusts you there is nothing that she cannot learn. She already knows several "tricks" such as come, pick up, wait, and more. She also has vocal cues that she is incredibly responsive to. I cannot say enough good things about this horse, she is perfectly mannered on the ground- ties, loads, stands for the farrier, etc. She is currently barefoot, and has no health complications.
