“𝑩𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒐” is a 6 year old 15.1 and a half hand gelding made purely of true elegance. His eyes will tell you everything, he is an old soul with a gentle spirit. His presence is truly healing. Bruno is a Friesian Percheron cross that is nothing short of the safe, calm, intelligent, versatile and sporty qualities they are known for! Bruno is very well loved and a barn favorite here. He gives you 100% every ride and always leaves you smiling. He has a kind, good-hearted, adoring personality that aims to please. In the ring, Bruno has a lovely walk, trot, canter. He has beautiful, floaty movement that is so comfortable and his rocking chair canter is to die for! I like to say he’s like riding a cloud! He has a soft, snaffle mouth and rides on the bit or on the buckle! He loves to jump and is quite good at it. He is very brave, confident and sensible. We’ve introduced him to cross country and he took to it like a natural! I think he has a ton of potential for someone looking for a good minded, young, strong horse to dabble in eventing, fox hunting, hunter paces, etc! He has been shown locally and done really well! He’s currently jumping 2 ft courses. He has a very professional mindset, he doesn’t get excited by high traffic in the ring and he stays focused on his rider and task. He has a ton of ring presence and is remarkable anywhere he goes! Bruno is also a phenomenal trail mount. He’s super chill, go with the flow type. He’s happy to walk down the trail all day or he’ll gallop through an open field if you ask him! He will confidently ride out alone or with a group, and it doesn’t make a difference if he’s leading the front, rear or middle! He’s traffic safe, crosses anything you point him at and he absolutely LOVES water! This is the perfect horse to take swimming on a hot summer day, he loves it! At home, Bruno is pretty lowkey - not much rattles this guy. We have done a lot of desensitizing training - tarps, flags, balls, fireworks, etc. He’s curious and aware, but not sensitive or reactive. I can’t say enough about how good minded he is! He can be the only horse in the barn and you’d never know it, he’s as quiet as a church mouse. He loves turnout time and is playful with his buddies in the field. Easy to catch and usually one of the first ones to meet you at the gate. He stands quietly anywhere and really loves to be groomed and doted on! Easy to bathe, clip, tack & mount. Loads and hauls quietly. He’s excellent for the vet, farrier and dentist. He’s current on coggins, vaccines, deworming, farrier and dental. Absolutely no bad habits and zero vices. I have had the absolute pleasure to own this gelding and have had so much fun with him in my program! Now, I have the pleasure to offer him to the public. He could truly go in any direction and is adjustable to many levels of riders. Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/P0lMFrvn914?si=yL_YSztb0eKu9ygH
