Patriot is equally at home beyond the ranch. He is a deluxe trail partner in both Arizona and Montana, confidently navigating rocks, mountains, thick brush, desert arroyos, and flowing rivers. You can almost call him a city boy as well; as he seems right at home and has no issues navigating the busy streets and heavy traffic of vehicles and tourists of downtown Wickenburg.
One of Patriot’s most endearing qualities is his generosity with less experienced riders. He has confidently helped teach our ten‑year‑old niece to ride, both in and out of the arena, always quiet, forgiving, and attentive. He is happy to take you roping with friends, then turn around and carry you out for a relaxed sunset ride.
Patriot is more than an all‑around ranch and trail horse—he’s the best‑friend kind of gelding. Fully up to date on dental, worming, and farrier care, with clean radiographs and excellent veterinary standards, this outstanding gelding has been a joy every step of the way.
