Odie is a lovely 16.1-2hh 15-year-old Dutch-cross gelding. I have had Odie for two and a half years. Odie is a lovely jumper and goes very nicely under saddle on the flat and over fences, and has also done a fair amount of liberty and ground work. We have shown the last few summers in two phases, hunter/jumper shows in the .7 and .8m, and done some off-property XC schooling and clinics. Though Odie is a bit more of a push ride, he is as gentle and kind as they come, loves other horses and animals, is happy to live in or outside, and is just a very smart guy. He is good for the vet and farrier, and aside from a little hock arthritis in the cold winters, has had no medical issues or concerns. He goes in front shoes and pads and barefoot hind. I think an intermediate teen or adult rider would be the best fit for Odie and would just love bringing him along and loving him. I have decided to sell him due to no fault of his own, and the decision is not an easy one, as I really love this horse; I just don't have time and can't afford to keep him while I'm in college. I will only sell him to the absolute best home, and I do not want him to be part of a lesson program, as he really loves having a consistent person. Videos available upon request
