Scout is a 3 year old mare that very much needs a job. She is out of a registered mare we owned and bred. She has grown up on our farm and has been enjoying the easy life for the last three years. With other horses and life demands I’m not finding the time I need to dedicate to her and getting her going under saddle.
Scout is a large and well put together mare. Nicely gaited, not pacey, and tends towards the trot when not in gait. She is ridiculously curious and clever. If you enjoy a horse that loves attention then you will enjoy her in-your-pocket temperament. She has quite the personality!
She handles well, stands for the farrier, trailers, and bathes. She is ready to be started under saddle this summer.
Her sire is a registered Rocky by Shake Rattle and Roll. I purchased her dam from Whispering Oak Farms in Kentucky. She is a well bred mare; however, parents have not been certified to date. That may change in the future, but at this time Scout is being sold as grade.
