Zack is an 8 year old quarter horse cross. He is more GO than Whoa. He is started under-saddle: walk, trot, canter.
I am the trainer helping the owners find Zack a good home.
Zack came to me for starting January, February and March. He’s very trainable and retains everything. He is back with me for consistent handling until he finds his person.
He never offered to buck/bolt/bite or kick. He is looking for someone that will be consistent with him to become his best. He is already super sweet and willing. He tries very hard to do what you ask. He is not spooky to anything I present to him. Tarps/ropes/pool noodles/plastic bags/ fly spray, are no big deal. He has recently ponied another horse and did great.
He’s never been stalled, he’s used to pasture living.
Zack’s biggest con is that he gets insecure when being taken away from his herd/buddy. Also, thinks he needs to be the leader of the herd. Someone with horse experience is preferred.
The owner has all his vet care paperwork and will pass it along to Zack’s new person. He is up to date on dewormer, feet, teeth and vaccinations. PPE welcome at the buyers expense.
