Diamond is a grade quarter horse. Purchased as a 4 year old. She was not blind when we bought her but suspected she had sight issues. She eventually had to have her right eye removed and her left eye has now lost sign. Despite her blindness she gets around just fine and her temperament is as sweet as can be. She enjoys food and attention. She is an extremely easy keeper and she has never had any health issues. We've been having to blanket her in the winter though because she does not grow a very good coat. She stands well for the farrier. She would make an excellent therapy horse candidate or someone who just wants a companion horse to love on. She must have another horse/donkey to be turned out with, she is very smart and has a fit when left by herself. She is currently stalled with a miniature donkey. We have a small property and I'm looking to downsize on some horses. The ideal home would have safe fencing and turnout with pasture or free choice hay. Too many horses and she gets pushed away from the food source. She is handled daily and very easy to catch. I'll be happy to answer any other questions.
