Silencio is a striking, kind, and versatile gelding best suited for an amateur rider looking for a true partner—a “forever horse” with personality, presence, and heart. He is a handsome gelding with an expressive personality, impressive movement, and a substantial, powerful build.
He is an athletic, forward-thinking ride with a naturally balanced way of going and three quality gaits. Silencio has a solid foundation on the flat and has been started over fences, showing scope and willingness. He has also enjoyed trail riding and is confident leading, following, and ponying—making him a fun and well-rounded horse to have in the barn. He has trained through first level dressage and exhibits much enjoyment in performing with his person.
Due to circumstances unrelated to him (owner injury and pregnancy), he has been inconsistently ridden and enjoying much time out to play with his herd mates for the past 2 years. Silencio very much enjoys a job and it is with a heavy heart that he is offered for sale to a person who has more time to devote to bringing him along. Due to his owner’s circumstances, Silencio is now 60 days into a professional program and progressing beautifully with consistent work. He thrives in a structured environment and clearly enjoys having a job.
What makes him special is his personality—he is an in-your-pocket, people-oriented horse who bonds closely with his rider. He wants to be someone’s horse and will give a tremendous amount back to the right person.
