“Okey Boy” (Oakley) is an 8-year-old, AQHA, 16-hand gelding with the kind of solid foundation that makes him a standout in a youth or family program.
Oakley is well broke with a quiet, willing demeanor and a fun, goofy personality that makes him a barn favorite. He’s the type that builds confidence in his rider while still having the ability and training to continue progressing. He spent 3 months with a professional trainer last summer.
He has been patterned on barrels and would make an excellent OHSET/WAHSET prospect or step-up horse for a youth rider wanting something honest, safe, and capable. He has been hauled all over and handles new places well. He has been through the Charmayne James barrel racing clinic twice. He has had excellent care and has light maintenance that is UTD.
