Duke is a solid, well-rounded AQHA gelding with a great foundation and a been-there, done-that mindset. Ride him every day or let him sit — he's the same either way. Excellent trail horse, been around cattle, patterned in multiple gaming events, and the list goes on. If I’m heading into the hills, or just want a solid horse under me, he’s the one that gets the call. Confident riding out alone, hauls great, zero maintenance. He’s been stalled and turned out but honestly prefers being outside if he gets a choice. Duke is not suitable for a beginner or someone new to horses. While I have confidently put many novices on him to safely pack around, he needs an experienced horse person. I’m happy to discuss details with anyone to ensure it’s the right fit. A good home is an absolute must. This was a hard decision for me. However, with younger horses needing more of my time, he deserves to be someone’s priority and have a job he enjoys.
