Meet knight, a gentle and stunning 19hh registered Percheron gelding. Sired by the World Champion Anderson’s Bentley, Knight has only had two owners and received the best care growing up. His former owners trail rode him extensively through state parks, hauling him often to new places. He has NEVER been in stocks for farrier work and is excellent with his feet - better than most horses! Knight is an extremely friendly, happy horse that waits at the gate all day to come out and get ridden. His personality can be best described as a Labrador - he’s immediately in love with anyone that offers a scratch and is instantly your best friend! As massive as he is, he is by far the most gentle, quiet horse to ever walk though my barn. Knight is easy to catch and comes galloping across the field when he hears his name called. He loves having horse friends and currently lives outside with his gelding friend, coming in to a stall during the heat of the day. He’s loves to be brushed and pampered and will stand quietly in the cross ties for hours. He is used to small children fussing with him, noise, and a busy barn isle and will politely ask everyone coming by for a pet. He stands quietly to tack, puts his head all the way down for bridling, and is generally one of the easiest horses to handle - even very timid children can easily handle and lead him, groom, tack and be safe around him. He stands quietly at the mounting block, and patiently waits for his cue to move off. He has smooth gaits, knows how to move off leg, and is a very sporty ride! He has a rocking horse canter and knows his leads but much prefers trail riding and exploring. Knight has had extensive training for mounted patrol work and is a fearless, curious, inquisitive horse with every novel stimuli. He is well broke to gunfire, flares, sirens, towing objects, car traffic and busy environments. Nothing phases. All of his training has been slow and correct. Knight is a very broke, confident horse that will be an incredible asset to his new owner. Ride him once a month or six days a week and he is the same horse. He was broke to drive before he started under saddle and would be an incredible horse for wedding carriages. Knight is easy to load and has hauled many hours in my two horse trailer and is very easy to load/unload for anyone (I am always alone and he’s very easy!). He is drama free and gets to a new place with his same confident, curious, friendly attitude. He enjoys going out on new adventures! Knight is an easy keeper with zero maintenance- just grass hay and some snuggles and he’s happy as can be! Knight respects fences and has lived both stalled and out 24/7. Sound, barefoot, and will pass a rigorous PPE. He has no blemishes and has excellent conformation.
