Nina (pronounced “Nine-uh”) is an 11-year-old, 14hh Mustang mare from the Yakama Reservation looking for her forever home as we prepare for a move this fall. Nina is kid-safe and beginner-friendly, though she is not a completely “push-button” lesson horse and can occasionally have a few typical mare opinions. She has a kind personality and has done a little bit of everything, making her a fun and versatile partner. She has never been shown and has only been trailered a handful of times, so she is still relatively low-mileage for her age. She has experience in Western and English pleasure, some hunter/jumper, trails, packing beginners and kids! She is barefoot and generally an easy keeper, though I have had some difficulty keeping weight on her this spring. Nina does best in an individual turnout situation, as she can be dominant and occasionally aggressive with other horses, so she would likely not thrive living full-time in a herd environment. She is up to date on farrier care, vaccines, bloodwork, and fecal testing. Asking $7,000, though I am willing to negotiate for the right family. Finding her the best fit is my top priority, so I will be selective about where she goes.
