McCurdy's Rain Dance - 2026 Bay TWHBEA & McCurdy Filly **Double Registered** Sire: Little John Lester Dam: McCurdy's Blue Ray "Rain" is a stunning Bay filly with the boldest, curious personality. She comes from a proven cross and is the only filly her dam has ever had. They are naturally gaited, have a nice natural lope, and her brothers that stayed in our program are Plantation hunt horses. Her TWHBEA papers and DNA has been sent in and I am sending in her application for McCurdy pedigree registration on Monday so she will have both sets of papers in hand at weaning. She will be dewormed every 4 weeks, receive her first dose of EquiJec 6 vaccine, be halter broke and ready to go late September or early October. A deposit will hold her until weaning! We have decided we are NOT retaining any fillies this foaling season so we do have a few other fillies available as well as a few mares. Package Deals Available! We are currently downsizing and I would even consider letting her go as a package deal with her dam who is confirmed back in foal to Little John Lester for a 2027 full sibling. A little about our main herd sire, Little John Lester... He is sired by the late, great McCurdy's Roan Lightning and is truly my heart horse. He has been my main riding mount since purchasing him from W2 Horses and the only reason I am raising TWH's is because he is such an incredible horse it would have been a shame to geld him. We have ridden all over the mountains out west, been to many field trials and he is also the horse I quail hunt on in South Georgia winter. He is one of a kind with a smooth as glass McCurdy gait, rocking chair lope, and a great mind in sticky situations, all of which he passes on to his foals. A true all around athlete and companion, he is unlike any other gaited horse I have ever ridden. We have been very happy with his foals and most of his colts stay in our region becoming hunt horses on the local quail plantations.
