🐴 HORSE WANTED – Therapy Horse for Vermont Community Farm We are seeking a calm, people-loving horse to join our therapeutic riding program at a Vermont community farm. We are ideally looking for a Norwegian Fjord, but are open to Quarter Horses, Buckskins, or Grullas that meet our needs. What we're looking for: • Bombproof temperament — must be quiet, patient, and unflappable around wheelchairs, walkers, unpredictable movement, and a variety of riders • Sound, healthy, and suitable for consistent light-to-moderate therapeutic riding work • Good ground manners and easy to handle for staff and volunteers • Experience with or openness to diverse riders of all ages and abilities • PATH International-suitable (or willing to be evaluated for suitability) Ideal breeds: Norwegian Fjord (preferred), Quarter Horse, Buckskin, or Grulla Age: Open, but preferably between 8–18 years Gender: Open Location: Must be trailerable to Vermont We can offer a horse a wonderful forever home with excellent care, a herd environment, regular farrier and vet attention, and a meaningful purpose serving our community.
