5 year old Andalusian/QH cross Mare
“Miss” is a 5 year old ranch mare. About 15.2 hands.
She has been used in both mountain country and the Sandhills of NE.
She has done all aspects of ranch horse work. Been used to tag calves during the calving season, brand calves (both snag&drag and head&heel), ride pastures, rope yearlings and cows. Great horse to take on the big circles. Ties, loads, is good with her feet, good around other horses, gentle but for an experienced rider since she can have a motor and will go to work.
Can be a little fresh if sitting too long but not a bronc.
Easy learner and wants to please. Not a mean bone in her body, but she is the type that might take a moment to trust you but once she does she’s all there.
Great mare to do anything with. She will cross water, ride through the timber, traffic safe, just point and she’ll go where you want her to go.
Can keep her going on the ranch side of things, make a pick up horse out of her or simply enjoy a cool stride on the trails!
She is grade but can be registered under sports horse if wanted.
