Some horses are talented. Some horses are kind. Some are simply just sweet! But very rarely do you come across one that has it all and who eventually truly becomes part of your family; and that is exactly what he has been to us for many years. Writing this ad has honestly been incredibly emotional because he has meant so much more to us than simply being a riding horse.

He is a striking black gelding with a strong foundation in both dressage and jumping, but his greatest quality is undoubtedly his character. He is deeply affectionate, people-oriented, and genuinely enjoys human connection. He is the kind of horse that meets you at the gate, enjoys attention, and forms a real bond with his person.

On the flat, he is beautifully educated and confirmed at 4th level dressage, with comfortable and correct movement and a soft, responsive feel in the contact. He has also schooled and competed comfortably around the 1.20m level in jumping. What we have always loved most about him under saddle is his honesty. He is not a horse that overwhelms or intimidates his rider; instead, he has an incredible ability to adapt to the individual in the saddle and work with their confidence level and rhythm.

Over the years he has been ridden by professionals, amateurs, younger riders, and softer riders alike, always remaining willing, sensible, and kind-hearted. He enjoys hacking and trail riding just as much as arena work and truly thrives in a home where he can build a close relationship with his rider and family.

He has been exceptionally cared for throughout his life and is current on all care. Recent PPE records and imaging are available. He stands beautifully for the farrier, veterinarian, bathing, clipping, loading, and daily handling. He is used to a consistent and attentive care routine and has always been maintained to a very high standard.

More than anything, our priority is finding the right home; somewhere he will continue to be loved, valued, and treated like family, exactly as he has always been with us. We care deeply about where he goes and the life he will have moving forward.
