With so few Fell ponies on our continent, it is truly rare to find one so well trained of this caliber . Felllegend Jedda, called “Jedda” is registered with Fell pony Society. Jedda has had a solid five years of carriage driving, including clinics, training, events, ADT’s CDT and pleasure drives. His beginning year in carriage training was from a well trusted Amish trainer. His halter training and thorough groundwork was done by a top student of Buck Brannaman. you can open any gate from his back and do cowboy dressage on him. Young woman, I rode hunters and jumpers, I am sure this gelding would make a wonderful children’s hunter. He is traffic safe and is a pleasure to take in parades. Jedda is an all around horse. In 2023 it became clear to me that carriage driving was dying off in California. As a backcountry horseman, Jedda and I had always ridden in the high Country of the Sierras during the summer. As I live close to this Sierras, it was an easy decision to stop driving and concentrate on trail maintenance in the Sierras. I also joined the local search and rescue posse. Jedda has traveled the roughest part of the Sierras and often leads a pack mule behind him . He has worked cattle on our small ranch.Jedda has never taken a lame step. His feet are round and hard. He has the amazing bone structure of the foundation fell ponies. He has a fast-forward walk and when in shape, has amazing endurance.
