She is sired by Amiralkamar, an own son of Imperial Al Kamar and out of a daughter of Imdal+. Her dam, Barmyre Malaaka, is a proven aristocratic producer with offspring in three countries. Malaaka is sired by the exported Imperial Mistaar and out of an Ibn Safinaz daughter.

Amurrah herself is a champion mare, known for her incredible movement, refined type, expressive tippy ears, and qualities that are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Amurrah is a kind, people-oriented mare with an exceptional temperament. She is the definition of a “tent horse” — easy to catch, easy to handle, excellent for the veterinarian and farrier, loads easily, hauls regularly, and enjoys human attention. She is well cared for and current on vaccinations, Coggins, and farrier work.

Under saddle, Amurrah has approximately 60 days of professional training with an excellent Texas trainer. While still considered green broke, she is willing, sensible, and has been ponied on trails. She shows promise as a future lesson horse, pleasure mount, or show prospect. She is swaybacked (lordosis) but has no riding issues. Her back requires special padding, but she rides well in a Rybak ranch-cutter saddle.

Regarding breeding, Amurrah cycles regularly and produces large, easy-to-track follicles. She can be bred via AI or live cover. Although she has not yet conceived, extensive reproductive work has been done. Amurrah does have lordosis, which does means she has a tilted uterus, and ICSI was recommended. Lordosis can be easily bred out with careful sire selection. During treatment at New Bolton Center, 15 oocytes were harvested and 7 fertilized successfully, though none progressed to final cleavage stages — something the veterinarians noted is not uncommon. New Bolton considered her a strong candidate for continued ICSI efforts, but her current owner is unable to continue pursuing advanced reproductive methods at this time due to other commitments.
