Phillip, or affectionately called "Phil", is a once in a lifetime gelding that will not only be your best bud, but is also such a joy to ride. Phil is a huge teddy bear and absolutely loves attention! He is so sweet, kind and respectful, and loves cookies! He is the kind you will want to slide on bareback in a halter and lay all over! He is always ready to go to work/play and meets you at the gate. Phil was originally started as a reiner and has been shown in the ranch versatility classes. He was successfully shown by amateur riders, hauling out to show by themselves without a trainer. Phil hauls well and is settled in new places. Phil has a flying lead change, spins, slide stop, will pick up either lead from a walk, and pivot on the hindquarters and forequarters, side passes, backs circles, neck reins and direct reins! He will do all the obstacles, open gates forward and backwards, teeter-totters, bridges, crosses water, handles gunfire, you name it!! He has excellent ground manners, easy to bathe, groom, catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied well, easy to pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands for mount and dismount, and quiet for the vet and the farrier!
