If you are looking for a well-trained true gentleman of a Friesian, you have come to the right place. Sjirk is a beautiful 13-year-old Friesian gelding standing 16.3 hands. He is the winner of two Sport Predicates in Holland in the year that he was eligible to do so. He was only 6 and became famous for it!
His predicates are in dressage and dressage driving – yes, you heard it – he can drive too! He is a true school master that can go up the levels. He was schooling 4th level when I purchased him.
Why am I selling him? Much as I adore this horse, I really do not have the time to do him the justice that he deserves. He has an ideal work ethic, is compliant, patient, and kind (I’ve even had a 9-year-old beginner ride him!). Yet for the more advanced rider he has the get up and go needed to go up the levels. He has also been ridden in parades, exhibitions, the beach, and on the trails. He is sound (never a lame day), stands for the farrier, the vet, clips and bathes with ease. He gets along with other horses. He’s an easy keeper too! He loads and trailers like a dream. His sweet temperament has made him the barn favorite.
