Reba has a great foundation and handle - moves her shoulders nice, big stop, very willing. She has been ridden around cattle, on trails, and in large pastures as part of her training process before getting into barrels. We’ve hauled her a few places and she’s done great standing at the trailer and taking in the atmosphere. This mare keeps getting put on the backburner. She is very kind and easy to get along with. No major bad habits or vices. Not a bucker, rearer, or kicker. Only “quirk” is she doesn’t like bugs flying around her; however she’s good with fly spray. She stands tied, loads, hauls, lunges, etc. She is very quiet and laid back to ride around, but she also has a ground covering stride and a motor when asked to frame up and work. She’s one that an amateur could bring along with some professional guidance, or she’s talented enough for a more serious competitor who wants a Buckle derby horse for next year. She is paid into Pink Buckle, Ruby Buckle, Tomorrows Legends as well as currently eligible for Royal Crown with no payment due. She is eligible for many other incentives as well but not paid in at this time. This mare previously sold for a higher amount, but after the change in management she locked her stifles coming out of a stall 10 days in. My performance vet said prognosis is very good for full career, stifle X-rays are CLEAN, and put her on a strict exercise regimen, etc. She continues to move classy and is very fit after several weeks of constant work! PPEs welcome Partial trades considered for well bred/incentive weanlings or proven broodmares under 12.
