Bear is a 12-year-old dark bay OTTB mare standing 16.3h with a wonderful personality and a versatile resume. I have owned her for the past 4 years and have put a lot of time and work into her.
She has a lovely walk, trot, and canter and is easy going with no marish behavior. Bear has shown successfully up to 2’6” and schooled up to 3’. For the past two years she has been leased and competing in hunter classes, including earning 6th place in Hunter Over Fences at the State 4-H Show.

Nothing seems to phase this mare! She is currently turned out 24/7 and does best living out, though she can be stalled if needed (she may pace when stalled).
Bear is a more forward-moving horse, so she is not recommended for beginners. She would best suit an intermediate to advanced rider, particularly someone who enjoys a horse with energy and athleticism, as she can get a little hot when jumping.

This is a horse I truly love, and the only reason for selling is that I have other horses needing my attention and it isn’t fair to let her sit. My priority is finding her a great home where she can continue to thrive and be enjoyed.
