With great sadness I am putting up Sarge for your consideration as I am getting married soon and cannot keep my curly dun.
Sarge is a gorgeous 2017 zebra dun curly gelding. His Bashkir curly breed gives him a uniqueness which you will find in his temperament and hardiness. His Standardbred in him gives him a readiness to move into any type of sport horse agility.
I use him on trails with western saddle, but he is also trained in arena work as well. He went to Aaron Janicki for 2 months of training, in dressage type work. He would excel in any direction you would want to take him. He has a great mind.
Sarge has been barefoot his whole life. I use boots on trails, but he has hardy feet for arena type stuff. baths, loads, crossties, stalled. He is the type of horse who will meet a new horse with hardly a care. I have yet to meet a horse he doesn't get along with. Comes to the gate to greet you.
He is very forward on the trails solo.
I want him to go to someone who is intermediate who knows how to be his boss as he tests his boundaries.
