Sebastian is a gorgeous black 8 yr old Friesian/Quarter Horse gelding.
He is a great size at 15.2 hh and wears a size 2 shoe, and has beautiful legs and feet. Sebastian has a great personality and is definitely looking for your attention. He is an “in your pocket” type guy and loves to be groomed, bathed, ridden in and out of the arena, and greets you at the gate.
Whether you are in the arena, hacking out on the trail, or on the ranch checking cows- Sebastian is a willing and able partner. He loves work, loves attention, and is an athletic gelding that can go any direction. He is sure-footed on the trail, has been to the mountains, and horse camping. Sebastian stands for mounting, has excellent ground manners, ties quietly, is great for the farrier, and has a Natural Horsemanship foundation.
Sebastian has smooth, fluid gaits, picks up leads, moves off of leg, direct or indirect reins, and has nice transitions. He has been ridden mostly Western, but rides beautifully in a dressage saddle and enjoys the movement asked of him. He also goes over small jumps and enjoys the training games in the arena.
He loads/hauls great, is good living in pasture or the barn, is easy to catch, and stands quiet while tied. Overall, Sebastian is a great riding partner and will thrive with a home who offers a lot of attention. He is a lovely gelding whether riding English or Western and would be an excellent option for someone looking for a well rounded gelding to ride in and out of the arena.
