Cooneys Scooter "Scoot" | $30,000
11-year-old | 14.2 HH | Sorrel Mare
Scoot is a well-bred, exceptionally trained mare with an extensive show record. She's a granddaughter of Smart Little Lena on the top and Peptoboonsmal on the bottom.
Scoot is an accomplished ranch sorting horse with an RSNC World Championship title, along with numerous other wins and earnings across Oklahoma, Texas, and Mississippi.
She's quick, athletic, and extremely honest. A reasonably confident amateur can go win on her, but she's got more than enough ability to be competitive with a non-pro or open rider.
While she's proven herself in the sorting pen, she's got the handle of a cutter/reiner and could easily transition into ranch horse events. She rides out, gathers cattle with ease, and is just as useful outside the arena as she is in it.
Scoot is a solid, versatile mare with the training, experience, and ability to go in several directions.
