Whiskey is a 13 year old gelding that has been shown and use to round up cattle plus trail riding. His problem is that when sits for any length of time he is cold backed. I will do some ground work with him till he is thinking and not reacting, then he is good to go. He is a fun horse to ride and has been rode in the mountains. He is a horse that likes to have a job to do but is fine to just tail ride on. He has had 6 months professional reining training, and was shown as a 6 year old stallion. He placed blue ribbons in all his classes and one reserve champion in reining. Since then he was gelded and has just been used for tail riding and moving/rounding up cattle. He is cowy and I don’t think it would take much to make him into a rope horse. He is easy to catch, leads, ties, loads, and good with his feet. Although he is gentle and my inexperienced granddaughter has rode him he is not a kids horse. Asking $15,xxx OBO.
