Macchiato 4 year old, 16.1hh, Friesian x Percheron, Gelding
Macchiato is a gentle soul who aims to please. He has a solid walk, trot, canter, back, pivot on forehand and haunches, side pass. He is well started on leg yields and jumping small courses. We have spent the spring exposing him to new environments such as trails, show rings, and clinics. He is polite and uncomplicated on the ground.
Who would be an ideal match: Maccie would be a great fit for an ammy or good riding kid looking for a horse to bring along. He just finished 3 months of professional training and has made excellent progress. He does still look to his rider for confidence so someone that is cool calm and collected would help him get to the next level. He is safe and has not offered anything silly. He thoroughly enjoys the trails and being outside but never complains about arena riding either. He has the movement to excel in the dressage world but also the athleticism to enjoy fox hunting or eventing. While new to jumping he seems to really enjoy the challenge.
