Just turned 3 in May, blue eyed bald face deaf gelding. Has an amazing personality, very loving in your pocket, great with kids, dogs, peacocks, goats, other horses (mares and geldings), great with skids steers, riding mowers, quads, being on the road, around cars, crossed the creek, bridges, puddles abd been ponied on the trail. Have ridden bareback and western. Stands tied, trailers, have ridden at a walk/trot. Stands for the farrier, no bite, kick or rear. I have two young Dexter heifers that he gets along with about 93% of the time they’re best buds and sharing food and the other 7% of the time he enjoys moving them around the pasture. He’ll stand being saddled and bathed. He’s up to date on his shots, teeth floated, microchipped, sheath cleaned, dewormed and will be getting a trim on the 11th. I bought him as a 2 year old kind as I wanted to use him for mounted shooting/team penning since he enjoys moving the cows/ trail riding as he loves to get out and explore new areas/ and was hoping to take him hunting as he wouldn’t hear the gym shots and doesn’t at all mind the smell of blood from the cows being butchered. He’s 15 hands and still growing. I have his papers filled out from the original owner, new owner can pick his papered name and send them in. He lunges at a W/T/C in both directions off hand cues and is extremely smart and a fast and willing learner. Easy keeper and a pleasure to be around. I thought I wanted to take on training another young horse but now that I’m getting older I don’t have the confidence/knowledge I once did. If I hold on to him I’ll be sending him to training. I’m open to selling him to someone who is looking for a fast horse who can turn on a dime who has an endless amount of potential. But may be open to trading for a horse who is already broke to trail ride as I’ve come to accept I’m looking for something a little more laid back now days.
