Oldenburg (Main Book) | Tobiano | 17h

We are honored to offer Winter Willow, a mare of rare substance and significance. For the breeder who refuses to sacrifice athletic quality for color, Willow is the ultimate find. A stunning Tobiano mare standing at an impressive 17h, she brings together the power of top-tier European bloodlines with the proven ability to produce upper-level sport horses.

A Versatile Athlete Under Saddle
While Willow is a proven producer, she is first and foremost a talented riding horse. She is currently in work, not just breeding, and continues to demonstrate the same athleticism that defined her early career in eventing and dressage.
• Current Work: Willow is currently in light work 3–4 times per week. She remains a horse who is genuinely "happy in her work," possessing a professional attitude and a work ethic that makes her a pleasure to ride.
• Breed Ambassador: Currently residing at the Kentucky Horse Park’s Breed’s Barn, she serves as a breed ambassador. She handles public attention, varying environments, and the rigors of being an ambassador with the calm, steady temperament characteristic of her lineage.

A Proven Producer of Excellence
Winter Willow has a consistent track record of passing on exceptional temperaments, rideability, and athletic prowess. She is the dam of Nike CFF, a successful FEI-level eventer, proving her genetic value in the competition ring.

Pedigree & Heritage
Willow’s heritage is rooted in performance royalty:
• Sire: Sambertino, one of only two Tobiano Warmbloods to pass the UK’s 100-day stallion licensing with a perfect 10 for temperament and a 10 for attitude to work.
• Maternal Grandsire: De Niro, a legendary WBFSH #1 Dressage Sire and sire of Olympic medalist Desperados.

Transparency & Health Disclosure
We believe in full transparency for our buyers:
• Radiographs: Please note that I do not have radiographs on file for Winter Willow.
• Veterinary Note: During her pre-purchase exam (PPE), she did flex positive on her right hind. However, she has remained consistently in work with no maintenance required, proving her resilience and ability to handle regular training.

A Masterpiece for Your Program
Winter Willow is the ideal addition for a serious breeding program or a rider looking for a substantial, talented partner with a proven performance history. She offers the rare combination of height, color, and elite heritage.
