A Gelding Available for On-Site Lease
16-year-old AQHA gelding, approximately 15.1 hands, available for an on-site lease. Looking for an intermediate to experienced rider who can provide consistency and develop a partnership with a truly special horse.
This sweet gelding has primarily been used as a trail horse over the past year, though he does know the barrel pattern. He absolutely loves attention and forms strong bonds with his people. Once he trusts you, he's the definition of an "in-your-pocket" horse and will even come when called like a dog!
On the ground, he's a dream to handle. He ties quietly, picks up all four feet without issue, stands well for the farrier, and has excellent manners. He gets along great with other horses and is typically the low man on the totem pole.
Under saddle, he can be watchy. I truly believe this stems from a lack of confidence and would improve significantly with a rider who can get him out consistently and keep him in regular work. He does best on the trail with a buddy but can go out alone with an experienced rider. Because of this, he is best suited for an intermediate to advanced rider at this time.
He is looking for someone who wants more than just a horse to ride—he thrives on connection and loves having his person.
