Breezy is the cutest little chestnut pony with a flax mane and tail, all the chrome, 4 white socks and a blaze standing at 12.2 and she is 8 years old. We don’t know her breed or exact birth date, but we know she is 8 this year. She absolutely loves kids, cuddles, scratches, kisses and being groomed. She is ready for a confident and adventurous kid to take her to the next level and help her reach her full potential. She is super athletic, she knows how to do all the things, and Breezy love, love, loves to jump. She often chooses to go over the jumps in liberty when on her own in the arena. She cruised over 3 ft easily when I free jumped her. She is very careful over rails and poles. Very coordinated over fences and combinations and quick to adjust. Breezy is also trained in basic dressage and takes to lateral work pretty quickly. Leg yielding at walk, trot and canter, starting some shoulder in and travers, counter canter, and just starting to learn the basics of flying changes. She is a very smart girl. If I was smaller, I would be competing with her, she is so fun! More woah than go in an arena, more go than woah out in a field. Does well on trails but will look at logs with much interest and suspicion. I’ve had her jump logs no problem though. Doesn’t spook at much, and if she does, reactions are not big. Great kids horse, used to all their shenanigans. Will calmly stop if someone falls off or loses balance. Has gone to local arenas and local shows with her 6 and 8 year old riders. Has been on trail rides, can go out alone but loves to have friends. Whether it’s a dog or kids on bikes, she likes to stay with the pack. Trailers alone but is more at ease with a friend. Settles into new places quickly. Easy keeper. Has minimal yearly maintenance due to being kicked on her hind leg by a horse before I owned her. She is amazing on the lunge line for the beginners, walk trot, canter. Has exceptional ground manners, responds to the lightest cues. Ties, Clips, loves baths, stands well for the trimmer, but will pull feet away if she feels she can get away with it. Kids can pick up her feet pretty easily. I have also done some basic training on pulling a sled, but she has only done it on sand as we didn’t get any snow last winter! Always been barefoot, I have front hoof boots for her when we go on trail rides or ride on rockier roads and she is very happy with those. Challenging characteristics: Can become impatient when standing for long periods of time, and will paw. Can take advantage of the beginners, once off the lunge line, who don’t have strong steering skills or leg and will go where she wants to go, or the opposite way she is being asked… because she’s a pony. It does come out sometimes. With the right rider, (a decisive and confident guide), this is a non-issue. Teeth done March, utd on deworming (herbal). Micro chipped. I have tons of videos of her doing all the things, so contact me for more info.
