Pickles
Affectionately known as speedy Gonzalez🤣
Pickles stands about 12 hh, & is as described a speedy little dude. He just got back from about 40 days with the Amish kids who loved him for training. He stands tied, leads, loads & isn’t fazed by much he’s been around the dogs, cows, dirt bikes, fourwheelers, kids & traffic. Vet aged him 10. He is currently sporting a full set of shoes because he’s tender footed on rocks.
Pickles stands to be mounted, and is ready to go. He would make a jam up little barrel horse for a handy youth because like I said he’s fast 💨, he’s a very forward little guy.
He trail rides, goes through water, and pulls a cart. He rides out alone or in a group. He makes friends with just about anyone who will put up with him. 🤣
He was buddy sour at first but seems to have gotten over it through his training. He still is an opinionated little guy at times but nothing horrible, typical pony. He simply is just too speedy for our kids at this time, so I need to look for something a little more their pace.
Pickles does best when ridden 5-6 days a week.
