Ellie is a 3-year-old Gypsy Vanner Draft cross mare about 15hh with a sweet disposition and a solid foundation.
Ellie is an easy keeper with a quiet, willing temperament. She absolutely loves people and will follow you around the pasture — always the first one to meet you at the gate.
She is broke to drive double and has been driven single, just not as much. She has been worked in a western saddle and lightly started under saddle. A great deal of time has been put into her ground manners and desensitization. She is not spooky and, when hitched, tends to have more “whoa” than “go.”
Ellie is good with kids, cows, and dogs. She leads, loads, bathes, clips, and stands well for the farrier.
She’s ready to continue in any direction you’d like to take her — driving, riding, or further training. Videos are available upon request.
