Ive never sold a horse before so bare with me. Any other information that ive missed please feel free to reach out to me at 931-841-1323 Name: B2 Breed: Rocky mtn cross with welsh pony (thats what the original owner said but vet said he looks more like a quarter horse) Gender: Gelding Age: 7yrs I bought him as my very first and only horse. I purchased him for 1750 but i. Willing to take 1500. or just send an offer. Reason for selling: I have a full time job and also work as a stable hand. I really have been trying to set aside as much time as i can for him because he is really eager to learn and you can tell he tries his hardest. He lopes well and stands still for mounting. He does great on trails and is kid friendly. Only thing is that he is difficult to load, but we have been working on it and he is doing much better than when we first started off. Another reason is eventually I need a horse that will barrel race. B2 knows the pattern by heart but the speed around the barrels is the problem. He acts like he is gaited but he isnt, i think he is just lazy. What type of home he needs: He needs someone to be firm with him and really tell him what to do clearly. Whoever takes him will need a lot of patience because he does need work. He is okay to ride he listens very well, can backup and turn whichever way you tell him to. As for groundwork he hasnt had a lot of it since ive had him. Previous owners had him good on groundwork but he has forgotten some of it and will need to be taken through it again. I really love this horse and this is a hard thing to do for me i just really want whats best for him since he is young and has so much potential!! Pros: - knows barrel pattern - can do poles - kid friendly - great on trails rides - stands still for mounting - lopes - close with his person - young - loves baths - not over or under weight - athletic - does not get spooked easy Cons: - food hog - needs a lot of time and patience - trouble loading - breaks unstable fences (he will try to eat over the fence) - he has a baby brain - lazy
