Diego is ready to go in any direction! While his main focus for the past several years has been dressage, he is enthusiastic and honest to jumps, and has cross-country experience. Comfortably schooling 2’6” at home with scope for more! He is trained to 2nd level dressage and has competed at training and first level, scoring into the 70s. With enjoyable gaits and easy lateral work, Diego is a little sports car! He thrives on consistent work but doesn’t need to be lunged if he has had some time off. The perfect middle ground between being a kick ride and a whoa ride, he does need a confident rider as he can be cheeky and a bit spooky at times. Best suited for an AA or Junior in a program. With solid basics, he has lots of potential for upward growth in eventing, h/j, or dressage!

Diego is easy to have around. He lives outside 24/7 in a herd of geldings and is an easy keeper. Diego currently wears four shoes but can go in fronts only, and he's good for the vet and farrier. He bathes, clips, loads, and travels well. Located in Watertown, MN.
