Bruno- the pony that could! He’s built like a brick house and is the handiest broke kids pony that can drive as well. Bruno is the perfect size - 52 inches - big enough for the kiddos and stout enough to be suitable for adults as well. He’s 12 years old and 100% sound - no blemishes, founder or scars. In the arena he is familiar with circle work and knows his leads. He will walk trot and canter on a loose rein, has a nice stop and backup as well. Bruno has the cutest one step short lope off and will lope like a big horse! He will neck rein soft and quiet as well. Out on the trail there is NOTHING this guy won’t go across! Creeks as deep as his flanks or down trees that are across his path , Bruno clocks in like it’s just another day on the job and goes wherever he’s asked willingly. He’s not spooky and very respectful on the ground. At our place he’s been mainly handled by children and has been exposed to a WIDE variety of situations that he’s always handled in stride. He’s been breakaway roped off of and has been used as a practice goat tying pony as well. Bruno is the type that is going to build a kids confidence. He’s quiet and sane enough on the ground for them to catch and tack themselves. He stands for the mounting block, fly spray and is 100% traffic safe as well as being around machinery and dogs daily.
