Maverick is a 2-year-old APHC registered Appaloosa/Quarter horse gelding. His mother is AQHA and father is APHC leopard Appaloosa. I have had him since 6-months old with the intent of him being a therapy horse for animal assisted therapy. However, Mavrick is not interested in participating in therapy services and needs a more interactive, busy job. He loads, clips, bathes, halters, leads, and blankets. Does fine with grooming and fly spray. He is barefoot with solid feet and stands for ferrier. He is UTD on all immunizations and worming. Mavrick needs an experienced handler who can train him to do a job. He is eager to learn. He respects hot fence and loves going in the horse trailer. He does test boundaries and needs more work on personal space. I want him to go to a loving home where he can excel and his shenanigans can be addressed with a firm, but caring hand.
