Winston is an attractive 15.3-hand AQHA registered chestnut gelding with a solid foundation and a great mind. He has been successfully used as a barrel and gaming horse for the past 3+ years and is currently running 3D with room to improve.

Beyond the arena, Winston enjoys trail riding, water crossings, and pasture rides. He does not buck, rear, or bolt. He has excellent ground manners and is easy to handle. He stands quietly for grooming, bathing, fly spray, saddling, bridling, mounting, and farrier work. He loads easily, hauls well, backs out of the trailer without issue, and eats and drinks well while on the road. He's not herd-bound and can be hauled or ridden away from other horses without issues. He is a fun and reliable partner both on the trail and in competition.

Winston has been a favorite among our local 4-H kids, who have hopped on and ridden him with confidence. He is patient, honest, and takes great care of his rider. He would be an excellent partner for riders looking to build confidence while remaining competitive.

Winston has been on the back burner while I finish college, so he has not been campaigned as heavily as he could be. He is ready for someone who wants to put him back to work and enjoy all he has to offer.
