Meet Honey, a beautiful Red Dun Roan mare, she is about 14 hands right now and 2 years old. She is still growing, she is expected to be in the 15 hand mark, her mom was a 16 hand draft cross and her Dad was a 15'3 hand fjord. Don't let her age fool you, this is one nice horse. She is great with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, and other horses. She is very sweet and smart, she is broke for the whole family to ride. I have picked up bags in the field with her, she is great with tarps. She neck reins, stops, backs up, and moves really nice, she has been ridden by my grandma who is a beginner, she has been to a high school rodeo with tons of noise and commotion around her. She loves water and will cross a creek/river easily. She moves very smooth and is very sure footed, very sturdy for trail rides, she can go up and down ravine type areas. She stands still to saddle, bridal, bathe and pick feet. So far she has gone barefoot and has very stong feet. She can be jumped on from the ground bareback too. She has been ridden for about 5 months and nothing much phases her. She has also had a 22 shot around her and did great, I'll have videos of that in a few days and videos of her walk, trot, canter. She has ponied other horses too. She is the perfect family horse, a horse you can trust to put anyone on and she will take care of them. Her parents are the last two photos.
