This is one horse that I hadn’t intended on offering yet but I need knee surgery and 16 is just too many. That being said, Black Jack is ready to continue on whatever direction you choose. He rides English and western (only western in the video because my knee is barely holding it together) and would be a fun trail, equitation, jumping, or all around family horse. He has the best disposition and personality for days. Black Jack has been exposed to a lot of different stuff and takes it all in stride. He is brave to jump and really enjoys it! I haven’t jumped since I was a teenager but he just makes it light and fun! Black Jack is good on the road, goes through water, rough terrain, thick brush, you name it. He won’t panic in a sketchy situation and I even have a video of him getting stuck in a kids car we were dragging around. He just stopped, let me dismount, and maneuver his foot out without a second thought. Black Jack is incredibly safe and respectful. My son is 5 and can do everything with him in the ground including load in the trailer. I have used him to start colts and he’s easy to place where you need him, hang off of him, desensitized to randomness, and just a very uncomplicated guy. Black Jack has been barefoot his whole life and has great feet! I can trim him by myself with an electric grinder even. This horse wants to be someone’s buddy. He loves people and wants to please. He is good in the pasture or stalled and gets along with a very diverse herd including colts, broodmares, ponies, and even a donkey. Be sure to watch his FULL VIDEO!
