My Dixie Honors (Dixie), 3yo Registered Tennessee Walking Horse gelding, 15.1HH, located in Hustonville, Kentucky. Dixie is a trail and pleasure gelding suited for riders looking for a young horse with a kind disposition, natural gait, and a solid foundation. He is up to date on vaccines and dental care and wears four keg shoes. Dixie is confident on the trail and crosses rivers, creeks, bridges, hills, and rough terrain with ease. He is traffic safe and comfortable around wildlife, livestock, and farm equipment. He rides well alone or in a group and has a naturally smooth four-beat gait that is enjoyable for long rides. He parks out for mounting, side passes to a mounting block, steps over for easy mounting and dismounting, backs willingly, and transitions smoothly into a canter. Around the barn, Dixie is easy to catch, loads and unloads quietly, stands tied, works well in hobbles, and is comfortable on a high line. With his willing attitude, gentle nature, and strong foundation, Dixie is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a young gelding with the potential to be a dependable trail and pleasure partner for years to come.
